Life Fitness strengthens top two selectorized lines with nine new pieces |
FRANKLIN PARK, Ill. – Oct. 9, 2003 – Today at the Club Industry trade show, Life Fitness, the leading manufacturer of a full line of cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, brought to market four new Signature Series selectorized strength units and five new Pro2 Series selectorized strength pieces.
“These nine new strength additions reinforce our commitment to providing facilities with an extensive strength offering, making it easier for them to meet the strength-training needs of their members,” said Greg Highsmith, senior business director, strength at Life Fitness.
Signature Series Additions
The four new units in the Signature Series, the premium Life Fitness-branded selectorized line, include the Calf Extension, Fly, Glute and Hip Adduction and bring the line to 17 units.
Unveiled in April 2003, the Signature Series is approachable and easy to use, so it appeals to beginning exercisers, yet it also is manufactured with superior ergonomics and durability to meet the demands of advanced exercisers. The new units are available now and carry manufacturer’s suggested retail prices ranging from $2,999 to $3,399.
Latest Pro2 Series Units
New to the Pro2 Series are the Assist Dip Chin, Back Extension, Hip Abductor, Hip Adductor and Seated Leg Curl. Introduced in February 2003, the Pro2 Series is ideal for fitness facilities that require the ultimate in durability. Each unit in the line comes in either a standard (Pro2) or a fully featured (Pro2 SE) version.
Consisting now of 18 units, the Pro2 Series captures the exceptional qualities of Life Fitness’ existing Pro Series strength line – durability, biomechanics and ease of use – and takes them to a new level. The new pieces are available now and have manufacturer’s suggested retail prices ranging from $2,299 to $2,799
